In the role of personnel security officer within security protection, you will have a central position in the work with security assessments and personnel security in classified security projects. The role is placed within the security protection function, which consists of the security protection manager and security protection strategist, and you will be an important part of an experienced team, contributing to ensuring that the organization meets high security protection requirements.

As a personnel security officer, your main focus will be on processing security assessments. The work involves close collaboration with both employees and internal and external parties and requires high integrity, structure, and accountability.

Examples of tasks:

• Ongoing contact with employees regarding personnel security matters

• Gathering and compiling information for security assessments

• Administration of orders in web-based portals

• Preparation and administration of background checks against clients

• Documentation and follow-up related to the personnel security process

Depending on your skills and experience, the role may also include:

• Participation in suitability assessments for placement in security classification

• Involvement in development and digitization projects related to the security assessment process

• Client contacts in follow-up and control matters

• Coordination and follow-up of training requirements and reporting to clients

• At least 1 year of experience working in security protection related to personnel security or equivalent.

• Practical experience and a good understanding of the personnel security process from a security protection perspective.

• Good ability to communicate and document in Swedish and English.

• Meritorious: Post-secondary education in security, law, or equivalent

• Meritorious: Experience with security-protected procurements and security protection agreements

• Meritorious: Knowledge of IT security, information security, and physical protection related to security protection
